You may have experienced that windows couldn't install updates by itself and gives random error message like this one:
Or sometimes, the updates is just taking too long to complete.
You may also have tried fixing them manually by restarting the computer or some services related to windows update but nothing worked. And so, I'd like to share what I do when I encounter this issue with my desktop or my clients' pc, and just recently, with my friend's laptop — worked on installing update from 2004 to 20H2 version.
